Dynamic corporate collection for Mazars

Mazars is an international tax and advisory firm committed to helping their clients confidently build and grow their businesses. Present in over 90 countries, Mazars works together as one team across borders and functions, combining skills and expertise with both a global perspective and local knowledge to provide clients with a broad array of professional services.

Mazars had the wish of acquiring art for their Amsterdam office, with sustainability, social engagement and diversity as key features. Because traditional corporate art collections tend to become irrelevant over time, The Art Connector came up with the idea of a dynamic corporate collection. Part of the project are site specific paintings by artist and essayist Sam Samiee (1988, Teheran).

This young multi-talent explores the possibilities and boundaries of the traditional art of painting. Samiee is also a researcher: he delves into (Western) painting, philosophy and psycho analysis, as well as the rich history of Persian literature. In his work, Samiee unites the Western visual culture with the languages of the Middle East.
